Policies for Lesson Programs, Camps and Private Lessons

Lesson Programs and Camps

Programs must be purchased in the Pro Shop before the first scheduled class of the lesson program.
It is at the discretion of Newell Golf to determine a player’s ability level. An evaluation should be scheduled prior to signing up for a lesson program.
There is no limit to the number of lesson programs a student can be signed up for.
Accepted forms of payment: MasterCard, Visa, or Debit.

Private Lessons

Lessons must be purchased in the Pro Shop
After payment, the student is in a “credit position” to receive lessons.
Lesson credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
Accepted forms of payment: MasterCard, Visa, or Debit.

Unless stated otherwise:

Lesson Programs are based on a term of 4 weeks and each class 120-minutes in duration
Private Lessons are 45-minutes in duration
When purchasing a lesson program it is expected that the student will attend class on the specified day and time.
If sign up for a Monday lesson program, a student will not be allowed to attend a Saturday class.

Waitlist Process

Students may ask to be placed on a waitlist for lesson programs and camps that are full and will receive notification should space open due to cancellation.

Pricing

Newell Golf reserves the right to change lesson prices at its sole discretion.

Release

The student assumes all risks incidental to participating in lessons, practice and other services, whether such activity is held inside or outside Newell Golf. The student releases Newell Golf from all liability and represents that the student is in good health and has no special physical needs or limitations, unless otherwise disclosed to Newell Golf.

Cancellation Policy

In the interest of fairness and mutual respect for students, instructors, people on wait lists, and administrative services, the following cancellation policies apply:

Any scheduled program cancelled by Newell Golf, students will receive a makeup credit towards the future purchase of a Newell Golf lesson program.
Once the first class in any program has been completed, the student is considered fully registered.
If a student is unable to attend a scheduled class for any reason there will be no makeup or credit issued.
If a student misses more than 50% of a camp or program due to medical illness (doctor verified document
required), they may apply for a 50% credit towards the future purchase of a Newell Golf lesson program.

Player Development Lesson Programs and Golf Camps (Spring Break, Summer and Fall Camps)

All cancellation refund requests must be sent/received by Newell Golf by email or text which records date and time.
A minimum of 7-days’ notice in advance of the start date is required to receive a full refund.
Refund deadline is 8:00 am Eastern Standard Time, 7 full days in advance of the start date.
If cancellation is received with less than 7-days’ notice, there will be no refund.

Private Lessons (Adult and Junior)

A cancellation notice must be sent/received by text/email/phone directly to the instructor a minimum of 24-hours before the scheduled appointment time or you will be subject to the loss of lesson credits.
